Hog Hammock Public Library is a member of Three Rivers Regional Library System, based in Jesup, Georgia. Hog Hammock Public Library and all eight Three Rivers member libraries are exempt organizations, as described in Section 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code. In addition, Hog Hammock Public Library is a 501(c)(3) organization. Therefore, your charitable contributions are tax-deductible. Three Rivers is Hog Hammock Public Library's fiscal agent.

In-kind Donations
Hog Hammock Public Library accepts donated books, however, the books may not necessarily be added to the library collection due to space constraints and possible duplications. Some donated books are sold to raise funds for the library.
We are interested in new fiction, nonfiction focusing on African-American/Gullah-Geechee history, the history of Sapelo Island and the sea islands in general, nautical history, environmental topics, marine biology and other topics that may be of interest to the people who live on Sapelo Island and those who visit our island.
We are also interested in magazine and newspaper subscriptions and DVDs of more recent film releases. During the summer months, our busiest season, our library needs paper products (paper cups, plates, paper towels and toilet tissue) as well as snacks and hand sanitizer for our young patrons.
